About us
Our vision
Steeped in the culture of scientific research, we seek to respond ethically and sustainably to industrial and social challenges by democratising point cloud processing.
Our values
Excellence
Two of France’s major research institutions have served as the backdrop to the design of our software solutions: the Toulouse computer research institute (IRIT) and the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS).
Humility and humanity
Our desire is to establish lasting relations by being attentive to what our teams and our customers have to say.
Ethics
Our fields of application are carefully selected and managed with solutions that offer reasonable energy consumption.
Who are we?
RollingDot’s origins
RollingDot was born from a meeting between a team of researchers from the IRIT (Toulouse Institute for Computer Research) and the CNRS (the French National Centre for Scientific Research) and two corporate entrepreneurs from the software publishing and development sector.
A joint entrepreneurial project
We provide the industry with an innovative 3D point cloud processing software solution that constantly evolves to incorporate the most promising results of scientific research.
Fruition
RollingDot was launched in 2024; it offers state-of-the-art software solutions to automate point cloud (LiDAR and photogrammetry) classification and geometric reconstruction.
