About us

Our vision

Steeped in the culture of scientific research, we seek to respond ethically and sustainably to industrial and social challenges by democratising point cloud processing.

Our values

Excellence

Because our solutions have been designed within two of France’s major research institutions: the Toulouse computer research institute (IRIT) and the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS).

Humility and humanity

Because our desire is to establish lasting relations by being attentive to what our teams and our customers have to say.

Ethics

Because our fields of application are carefully selected and managed with solutions that offer reasonable energy consumption.

Who are we?

RollingDot’s origins

RollingDot was born from a meeting between a team of researchers from the IRIT (Toulouse Institute for Computer Research) and the CNRS and two company bosses already well established in the IT and software development sector.

A joint entrepreneurial project

Providing industry with an innovative 3D point cloud processing solution that constantly evolves to incorporate the most promising results of scientific research.

Fruition

RollingDot was launched in 2024; it offers state-of-the-art solutions for automating the classification and geometric reconstruction of point clouds (LiDAR and photogrammetry).
